Sorry none that I know of...I wrote a short history version on this website and created an histroical video 10 years ago (which I need to update). The only non-fiction book is Guys Like Us which was pretty funny story about a softball team that would only think about the game...

I was wondering, what's the difference between 16" softball and regular softball? To my knowledge, we don't play 16". Thanks!

16" softball is played in Torrance and Manhattan Beach...the main reaosn for 16" size is parks and schoolyards were small in Chicago and 12" ball would always be flying out of the park. see history section of HOF site
